How to use DnnC CookieConsent in your skin

The SkinObject is used in your skin and is used the same way as other SkinObject . For information about settings for the SkinObject see “Settings”

It is important to set at least one of the Cookie types in the configuration of the SkinObject

Step 1 : Add the register tag to the top of the skin.

<%@ Register TagPrefix="dnn" TagName="COOKIECONSENT" Src="~/DesktopModules/dnnC_CookieConsent/CookieConsent.ascx" %>

Step 3 : Choose the Cookie types that you use on your site.
In the SkinObject tag, set the values of the following:

1. AnalyticsCookie (true | false)
2. SocialCookie(true | false)
3. AdvertisingCookie (true | false)
4. NecessaryCookie (true | false)

Step 4 : Change your scripts that use cookies. Click here for code examples.

Anyone wondering what step 2 is try adding the following to the same page you registered the tag on:
<dnn:COOKIECONSENT runat="server" AdvertisingCookie="" AnalyticsCookie="" NecessaryCookie="" SocialCookie="" />

Then give true|false values to each
